A common request we have received over the years is for short hour staffing. While some of our clients require 24/7 round-the-clock care, many of our clients, especially those new to senior home care, only want a small number of hours per day to help their loved one. This helps them get acclimated to having someone new in the home, so it is a great place to start.

In your search for home care, you may have often encountered an hourly minimum per day from other agencies or private aides unwilling to work short hours. The usual standard in the market is to have a minimum number of hours. This is usually put in place by agencies since caregivers don't have the capacity to work short hour shifts.
