Born and raised in Colorado, Mr. Lindsay made his way out east originally as a minister before settling in Alexandria, Virginia, where he currently resides with his wife, Leslie. Felt called to business when the company started in 1994, Jim joined ACCfamily's team and has been leading it ever since. While you won't ever catch him boasting about it, Jim has earned his Executive MBA from the Saïd Business School in Oxford, UK.
Mr. Keys has been with ACCfamily since 2003 and just recently celebrated his 20th anniversary with the company. Marbury has vast knowledge of the nuances of human resources, but his experience in this industry has given him an invaluable expertise in knowing who will be a good fit to care for your loved one, and who will not. As a former member of the USMC, he is a perfect fit to maintain the order and discipline of the ranks, office staff included! We consider ourselves blessed and thankful for his service to our company and our country.
Mr. Lindsay has been with our agency since 2010. Originally starting out in a part-time capacity to, in his words, "pay for dates with my high-school sweetheart," Casey has since discovered a passion for senior care and subsequently risen from administrative assistant to Director of Administration. Casey prides himself in his ability to work with client's Long Term Care (LTC) policies and help them maximize their home care savings. Like his father, Casey went overseas to obtain his masters degree, going to the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, UK.
Ms. Arguello joined our team in 2016. Ever reliable and quickly developing a strong reputation for customer service, Karla has risen to become our Senior Care Team Leader, responsible for the care coordination of multiple clients, along with the supervision of the other care team leaders we have on staff. With over 12+ years of customer account management, Karla is well-versed in managing complex care scheduling needs.
Since joining in 2019, Dan has been essential to our team. He began as a Care Team Leader, quickly building trust and rapport with both clients and caregivers. Now, he expertly connects clients and their families with our caregivers, helping create personalized care plans tailored to each client’s needs. Dan’s leadership and dedication make him a key force in advancing our mission to provide exceptional home care services.
Melissa joined our team in 2018 as a dedicated caregiver, and through her hard work and commitment, she rose to the position of Care Team Leader. Melissa plays a crucial role in managing client care and supporting our caregiving staff. Her journey from caregiver to leader highlights her deep understanding of the needs of both clients and caregivers. We’re incredibly grateful to have Melissa as a key part of our core team!
We not only believe in a stable administrative support team. In fact, we think the heart and soul of our agency is made up by our wonderful caregivers. They are the "face" of our agency as they will be the ones spending the most one-on-one time with your loved one. We only hire the most qualified individuals to be part of our care team. By paying our caregivers well above Alexandria's "living wage" we are able to attract and retain the best possible caregivers even amongst such a tight labor market. We are grateful to say that we have caregivers who have been with us for 10, 15 and even 25 years!
All of our new hires go through a rigorous hiring process. This includes interviews with multiple staff members, a state and national-level criminal background check, reference check, an evaluation of English proficiency, TB and COVID-19 tests, as well as certification checks.
