The smallest shift we offer is four (4) consecutive hours. This is the industry standard, but of course you can add any length of time above 4 hours, in any increment of time you desire.

In terms of commitment, you don’t have to commit to any additional hours, number of shifts, pay a deposit, or commit to a certain length of service with ACCfamily. You have enough to worry about without trying to guess how long home care will be needed for or what may happen in the future. Things can change very quickly and we are flexible.

You also don’t have to worry about filling out complicated tax forms or give W-2s to caregivers at the year’s end as ACCfamily Caregivers are our employees and not independent contractors.

We’ll invoice you for only the exact time the caregiver is on the job. Our computerized system tells us when our caregivers: are safely at work, have arrived and left the site of care, aren’t where they should be or have left early.

And once you’ve started home care with ACCfamily, you’ll be appointed a Care Coordinator who’ll become your main point of contact for any scheduling questions, changes or adjustments that you may have. You can contact a Care Coordinator anytime, day or night.

Method of payment

Our billing system is easy and convenient. We serve first, then bill.
For your convenience, a single bi-weekly billing cycle relieves you from paying anyone but ACCfamily.

We only accept private pay or Long Term Care (LTC) insurance policies. If you have an LTC policy we will bill the insurance company directly once we receive an Assignment of Benefits. This means you don’t have to submit reimbursement forms as we’ll simply send the insurance company the progress notes and invoice every two weeks.

Visa and MasterCard payments are accepted.

We don’t accept Medicare.
