What can a caregiver help with?

Our caregivers can help you or your loved one with daily living activities, such as:

Reminders to take medication and drink water

Our caregivers will ensure your loved one stays hydrated and receives timely reminders to take any necessary medication.

Light housekeeping and laundry

We make sure that your loved one can keep their house in good order. We don’t offer a cleaning service, but our caregivers are more than willing to help clean the house in small ways that allow your loved one to remain in a tidy and clutter-free home.

They’ll help with:

  • laundry
  • gardening
  • dusting
  • vacuuming
  • sweeping.

Staying active and healthy

Our caregivers can help your loved one get out and about for some fresh air or attend their favorite exercise class to help them stay active.

Transportation

Transportation is often a challenge. Additionally, many find it hard to find a home care provider that is willing to offer transportation services. As we believe that extending our patient’s independence and freedom is vital, we offer transportation services. This transportation can include taking your loved one to events, appointments, performing errands and even just going out to enjoy a beautiful day at the park.

Personal care and hygiene

Personal hygiene strongly correlates to a person’s dignity. We want to make sure that a person never loses their dignity. Our caregivers are glad to help with bathing, grooming, and dressing of patients who require this assistance.

Companionship

Sometimes a loved one can be fully functional but still require someone just to be with them. We recognize that your busy schedule doesn’t allow you to always be around and that’s where our caregivers can help.

Your loved one will have someone to: talk with; read to them; watch a movie with; engage with their hobbies; take them out to meet with friends; and keep them company, even if they don’t need any other services.

Alzheimer’s and dementia care

Our caregivers are specialized in taking care of patients with dementia and Alzheimer’s. Each one of our caregivers has received an extensive amount of education in order to better care for a patient who may no longer be able to perform daily functions as well as they used to.

Groceries and meal preparation

We believe that customizing the care of your loved one to meet their deepest needs is important. We collect favorite recipes and food preferences in order to fit a caregiver who can help with cooking some of your loved one’s favorite meals.

Our caregivers can also assist with grocery shopping.
